1944 Buck Rogers Rocket Rangers Membership Card
The Buck Rogers Rocket Rangers Membership Card was issued 6 times over a period of 38 years. They were only available by mailing in a clipped out coupon offer from the newspaper comic. This is the blue card which was the second issue from 1944. It shows a photo of the Inter-Planetary Battle Cruiser, along with your secret number, an image of Buck, plus the "courtesy" afforded to each and every Member! The card was first issued in 1939. It's identical to this 1944 card except it was printed on yellow card stock. It was again reissued in 1946, 1952, 1958, and 1977. However, these subsequent cards contained different information and images. Subsequent card colors were either blue or white. The size never changed. All are 2-3/8" x 3-7/8". Sold: May 2011
